“ Me and my friend came on a Saturday afternoon. The place has several customers and one person working the floor. Alex was working very hard and extremely courteous. It seemed like they were a little short-handed, but the chef was working every station and working non-stop. We ordered our beers and let Alex do his thing with other tables. We were in no rush. We both have been in the industry forever and know what the weeds look and feel like. For our patience and understanding, we were given flounder sashimi on the house. Then our orders started to come out. When I tell you, the presentation was beautiful but nothing compared to the taste. Everything either had a slight sear or a beautiful sauce that just elevated the freshness of the dish. I ended just shaking my head and telling Alex I was sick of smiling at how good everything was. It is mid range in price but well worth it. I will definately be back and with more friends. ”
“ We had an amazing experience here. First time trying this place out! We loved the decor and the coziness of the restaurant. Service was good and plating was even better. The dishes that we ordered were so nicely plated. We had this salmon sashimi with Asian pear that was folded in the center, we also had a sushi and sashimi dinner with a wide variety of fresh fish, then our friend ordered pieces of different nigiri, the sexy roll and the lobster roll were both a hit very great flavors! Our favorite was the blue fin tuna and the salmon which was so fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back again! Highly recommend this place if anyone is looking for good quality sushi in the area. ”
“ Small little restaurant serving quality , fresh and tasty Japanese food. Huge list of Shushis and rolls. Specially loved the "I'm hot", that was super delicious, never eaten such a roll so far around Atlanta. Tried the sweet potato roll and veggie roll too, both were equally good. They have many made in the house rolls that you can try, other than the standard California rolls and others. The restaurant is clean with good ambience and decor, and the serving staff is so hospitable and cordial. They offered several veggie options for my vegan daughter and added variety of sauces when asked. The veg fried rice was fresh, nicely cooked and very tasty. Their home made sauces were too good. Great choice for a Sushi restaurant in this area, will love to visit again and highly recommend. ”
“ Excellence in a small package. Well prepared, quality ingredients and wonderful service combine into a 1-2 punch. It's a KO every time here. Definitely on my "will return" list for greater Duluth/Peachtree area. ”
“ A bit on the pricier side, but we'll worth it. All the rolls and sushi were up to par. Also they were kind enough to provide us with a complimentary shrimp sushi which was out of stock for a proper order. ”
“ I had a chance to stop by this sushi joint for the first time today and I ordered 2 signature rolls and 1 ramen entree for takeout. No experiences are perfect and there is no way to execute the dishes in a way that they appeal to everyone. Although there were some shortcomings with my experience (some due to the inevitable subjectivity of food in general), the experience was still relatively very good and deserving of a 5-star rating. Read on for more of my experience. - Out of Control This is one of the rolls recommended by the server. I personally did not care much for it. It came with a sweet but light sauce drizzled over the roll. The sweet flavor was subtle so I liked that it wasn't overwhelming in that regard, but I didn't really notice much of other flavors and found the dish to be ultimately a little bland. - I'm So Hot I'm a fan of spicy food, and as a result, naturally a fan of spicy tuna, salmon, and other spicy seafood mixtures. I had to try this one out. This roll had a slight kick and I enjoyed it. The level of spiciness was just right and the roll overall was flavorful and tasty. - Tonkotsu Ramen The broth was thick and flavorful, but maybe too concentrated? The flavors were a bit overwhelming and it came off as salty. I had a love and hate relationship with it and enjoyed the dish and disliked it at the same time. Aside from the broth, the noodles were also a letdown as they were just cheap basic noodles, but chashu and the egg were well executed. I personally enjoyed the egg the most from this dish. The yolk was fully cooked through so I was initially disappointed but to my surprise it was super tender and flavorful and paired incredibly well with the broth. - Service As for service, there's really not much that can go wrong for a takeout order. Upon entering the store for pickup, I was promptly greeted and the entire process of making the payment and receiving my food was carried out in a timely manner. However, I had to knock a point for service due to the fact that they forgot to provide me with soy sauce when 2/3 of my order was sushi. It's a mistake that can happen but it's a critical mistake, nonetheless. - Verdict I was satisfied with my visit but not to the extent that I'll be counting the days before my next visit. If I revisit, I will definitely reorder the "I'm So Hot" roll. ”
“ I had not gone to this place before but I'm super glad I did now. Their food was very good and the staff was very polite. I got the chicken teriyaki and California rolls. The spicy tuna roll was also very good. They have a huge selection of sushis and bowls. The food came out fast but well done. I'll come back to visit again soon! ”
“ I had an enjoyable birthday lunch there and loved the lunch special and the fried rice cakes app. Very clean and very yummy! Two thumbs up! ”
